About This Tool

The UKSI is the UK Species Inventory. It is the official list of all species recorded in the United Kingdom and is maintained by the Natural History Museum (NHM).

This browser is using an old version of the UKSI, so don't use it for anything important! Once its understood how to get the latest version in the required format (DwCA), the browser will be updated. The main motivation for developing this tool was to implement a hierarchical browser and understand a little more about the UKSI.
